Point your camera at a visible organism: plants, insects, birds, mammals, fungi, or other life forms with enough detail to identify. Explore your neighborhood, a hiking trail, or your own backyard. Nature is everywhere once you start looking.

Snap a photo and let the AI do the work. You'll get the common name, scientific name, confidence, rarity, conservation status, field stats, and facts about habitat, diet, behavior, and range. Every scan is a mini field guide.

WHAT CAN IT IDENTIFY?
Visible organisms in photos: animals, plants, fungi, and other life forms when the image has enough detail. The app rejects photos where no organism is clearly present.
IS IT ON IPHONE AND ANDROID?
Yes. Wildcard Dex is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM A NORMAL WILDLIFE ID APP?
It keeps the identification flow, then adds the game loop: species cards, XP, quests, rarity tiers, collection metrics, friends, trades, and biodiversity maps.
DO I HAVE TO CATCH ALL OF THEM?
No. But you'll want to. Play at your own pace.
IS MY DATA SAFE?
Your collection is stored locally on your device by default. Photos are sent to AI for identification and are not permanently stored by the AI service. If you sign in with Google or Apple to back up your dex, your sightings and photos are mirrored privately to your account so you can recover them on a new phone. To document biodiversity, we may collect species location observations, but any public community map output is reduced to coarse admin-region centroids and is never attached to your personal identity. Social features (friends, trades) use server storage. Location tracking is always optional. Read the full privacy policy for details.
